About Me

Hi! I'm Ismael, a developer who enjoys technology.

I’ve always been the kind of person who likes to understand how things work. I’m comfortable with computers and I’ve always had a bit of a “nerd” mindset when it comes to technology, enjoying everything from software to hardware and tinkering with systems.

I’m especially interested in development and software engineering, and I like building projects that actually work and feel useful. I am a little perfeccionist and i like to put efford in cleaningness and a good structure. I also enjoy video games, not just playing them, but understanding how they are built and what makes them engaging, recenty i started to do projects in Unity.

I hold two Higher Degrees in Web Development (DAW) and Multiplatform Development (DAM), where I gained experience working with both frontend and backend technologies in real projects.

Technologies & Experience

Technologies I've used in personal, academic and professional projects.

Frontend

Experience building responsive web and mobile applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS and Kotlin, working with frameworks such as React, Next.js, Vue and Angular.

Backend

Development of backend applications with PHP, Node.js, Java and C#, using frameworks such as Laravel, Spring and .NET, implementing APIs, authentication systems and business logic.

Databases

Experience working with relational and non-relational databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server and MongoDB.

Other Tools

Daily use of Git, experience with Docker, Agile methodologies, collaborative development workflows and Unity for game and interactive application development.
